A while ago I commented on one of my cyberspace friend's blog about how much I loved a shirt she had designed. (I would show you her original design, but I can't find the blog post!) Almost by return, the lovely Kylie emailed me thanking me for the comments and what were my measurements so she could make me one.
I was flabbergasted by her kindness. She didn't want payment, she was just touched by my comments and would be honoured to make something for someone who genuinely appreciated her work.
Thank you so much, Kylie xx
(Now all of you, if you haven't come across 3 sheets before, go check out Kylie's wonderful blog and shop)

That is everything that is nice about blogging - sharing, making friends and lovely things made. You look fab in that top love, and I don't want to hear any more nonsense about how you are no longer tiny! xx
Thank you Karen! You are such a love :)
I happen to think my pin cushion and needle case are exquisitely wonderful! Thanks for being so lovely. Kx
Love that shirt!!! Looks fabulous x
Oh my word!! That is a BEAUTIFUL blouse!! It looks like something you'd find at Anthropologie (my fav shop).
I love the sheer fabric around the yoke and the back. Plus it's SO gorgeous on you!!
Just saw your comment on my blog, so I apologize for getting back to you late. In answer to your question, the fabric on the far left is a Robert Kaufman print (not sure of the name but a newer print), the 2nd is a Japanese double gauze (again, don't know the name or manufacturer but will try to get the info), and the 3rd is by Repeat Studios in Toronto and can be purchased at The Workroom (also in Toronto, Karen Valino - the owner - might do an online/by phone order). Hope this is of some help. :)
Kylie's wonderful, sensitive, funny, clever, imaginative and very inspiring. Looks great!
